As far as we can tell, not much happened this past weekend. We’re glad for the lack of disasters around town and hope everyone had as much fun this weekend as we did. We had a fire-filled weekend in which we witnessed a woman light her nipples on fire and sing happy birthday to her friend, viewed fireworks from a swanky balcony with a city skyline view and spectated an impromptu fire dancing demonstration in which a girl we’d just met danced around swinging flaming balls attached to chains. We are here to report that flaming balls attached to chains make a really interesting wooshing sound when swung around in circles really fast and that, contrary to what one might think, they can be briefly touched by trained professionals without immediate pain and ambulances.
