Bomb Scare!

airport.jpg

Right after yesterday's South Austin bomb scare, earlier today a suspicious package was found at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport. Austin-American Statesman reports that thus far it's forced the closing of the west sections of the upper drive and ticket counters, and delayed at least one flight. The east section of the airport remains open.

The bomb squad is currently on the scene, and no word is available as of yet whether this will be contained soon. If you're heading to the airport to pick up a friend or catch a flight this afternoon, be prepared for some delays.

UPDATE: turns out the package contained equipment for model airplanes. All Clear!
