Elsi's Serves Breakfast

If you are like us, you want to barf up a few ginger bread pancakes the next time someone mentions Kerbey Lane. Magnolia, again! There must be more breakfast options than these. There is, lovelies, there is. Elsi's--now located at 6601 Burnet Road, next to the El Paso Import Co. (where we'll be buying all our furniture once we win the Texas Lotto).

We know you love Mexican. Do you also love Mexican for breakfast? Of course you do, otherwise what's the point of all these breakfast taco businesses? At Elsi's you can have a true, tasty, hot and fresh Mexican breakfast. And it won't cost you but a few bucks. It's a good thing.

these guys won my heart a while back with their orchata and migas. I was scared when they moved locations that they may not make it. but the new digs are roomier and shinier.

their plantains, black beans and egg breakfast (the central? i think) is a fave of mine. and the aqua frescas are refreshing. also this is one of the few places i can get my sunday morning breakfast taco fix (also at 2pm when i decided to get my Sunday morning started).

thanks for highlighting one of my favorite joints.
