Ahuuuuga!

In our sadly misguided youth, Austinist had three heroes whom we idolized. In our admiring (and evidently nearsighted) eyes, they were champions of integrity and courage, pillars of moral righteousness, and infallible gurus to whom we could always rely on for sagely wisdom.
They were, ordered in descending import: Superman, The Professor on Gilligan's Island, and that lanky dude in the Police Academy movies who makes the nifty sound effects with his mouth.
We'll never meet the first two, because one doesn't exist and we're sure the other's dead, but - wait for it - the lanky sound effects dude is coming to Austin this weekend!
His real name is Michael Winslow, and he'll be doing his stand-up routine on Saturday, and providing dialogue, music, and sound effects for the screening of Lady Terminator on Sunday. The Austinist hotlines are abuzz with speculation about this mysterious cool cat: What's he like in person? Can he actually talk? Who'd they service to greenlight yet another episode?
We don't know! But we'll be clinging onto him this weekend like Sergeant Mahoney on Lieutenant Harris to find out. If you catch our drift.
