Summer Movies in the Park: Barbershop

Tonight marks the start of yet another free outdoor film series, this time over on the east side at Kealing Park. Brought to you by the Parks and Recreation Department, Austin Film Society, and the East Village Alliance, Summer Movies and Music in the Park screens every other Wednesday through August 3rd.

They'll be showing "Barbershop", the comedy starring Ice Cube, Eve, Cedric the Entertainer and a whole bunch of other folks. We've never seen it but it seemed to do well in theatres, which should make for a good time!

Bring your own blankets and chairs. Food and cold drinks will be available for sale from Gene's New Orleans Style Poboys & Deli. As always, no alcohol or glass containers are allowed, so wait until afterwards to get hammered at the AIH show!
