Turn Right at the Apple Tree

Despite being a traitor to his commie friends (remember Nick Nolte's refusal to give a standing ovation at the Oscars a few years back? Hilarious!), Elia Kazan is one hell of an awesome director (Splendor in the Grass is one of our all time favorite films). And most of us know, too, that despite his brief career, James Dean is one hell of an awesome actor. Add to that the fact that the Paramount Theatre is one hell of an awesome venue for classic films. Given these facts, there is just no good reason for you not to go see East of Eden at the Paramount tonight.

If you can't make it tonight, East of Eden will also be showing at the following times:

Friday, June 17 @ 7:15 pm
Sunday, June 19 @ 3:05 pm
Monday, June 20 @ 9:30 pm
Tuesday, June 21 @ 7:15 pm
Wednesday, June 22 @ 9:30 pm
Thursday, June 23 @ 7:15 pm

We're going to be there for Rebel Without a Cause tonight.

Steinbeck was one of America's most gifted writers; East of Eden remains among my top three favorite novels. Timshel, baby!!
