Grapes of Wrath!

Apparently some women will not take “No” for an answer. Such was the case this week when an Austin woman physically assaulted a man for refusing to have sex with her a second time!

It seems Jannette Pulido felt her sex partner, Frederick Parke, had not held up his end of the bargain; so in order to persuade him to give it another shot, she grabbed the poor bastard’s testicles and gave them a good squeeze. She then wrestled with the man and warned him that if he fell asleep without engaging with her sexually for a second time, she would cut off his penis. What?! We understand women’s needs may sometimes go unfulfilled in the bedroom, but we are pretty sure testicular brutalization and threats of penis-lopping are not the most constructive ways to nurture a healthy sexual relationship.

Parke eventually succeeded in removing the woman from his home, but she returned later and attempted to re-renter the house, apparently still longing for some good lovin’. The police were eventually contacted, and a warrant has been issued for the arrest of Pulido.

So, men, be careful what you wish for, as a few good pick-up lines and a lack of stamina could be a combination that just might lead to having your nuts in a vice.

Wow. A guy gets his boys squeezed by a girl and becomes a top story from whatever source link that was?? If the sexes were reversed, do you think anyone would have even batted an eye? Why does sex role reversal make serious issues seem amusing? See, if the sexes were reversed it would take a drugged-up Christian Slater grabbing some poor lady's knockers in public to make the news. Which it did. (MSN.com "entertainment" section)

In retort to this question:

Why does sex role reversal make serious issues seem amusing?

All I can say is, just because.

Wow. A woman places fourth in the Indy 500 and it becomes a top story? What if she was a man? Would anyone bat an eye? Can you name last years fourth place finisher? I mean if this were the Olympics she would not even get a medal. Why does sex role reversal make a Champion out of the third loser? Oh wait… Its b/c she is hot.

Yeah, Ginger, go on with your bad self.

It's funny precisely because of the role reversal. And, it's funny to read stuff like "I'm going to bite off your balls" in print.

Geez guys! Of course the story is funny, the police report was a hoot! My point was that if the tables were turned, I personally would be scared to have a guy harass and fight me for not wanting to have sex. I think it's good to question these things...I like to wonder why people react to things the way they do and turn those reactions into headline news. To say "just because" isn't good enough for me. When I read the story I couldn't tell if I should be laughing at the guy for being such a pussy, or be disgusted with myself for thinking that knowing how I would feel in his situation. I realized that my own thinking perpetuates the idea that guys can't be venerable, that girls can't be threatening, and that if either thing happens we should point and laugh. Plus, it's not fair to compare a negative situation to a positive one. I don't know about the Indy 500, but maybe it's the 1st time a woman has ever placed that high in the "sport"?? If so, then that is news worthy, and you're right--we can't call her a champion until she places like one. Yes, being hot helps too:)

I think anything these days can become headline worthy, maybe that is the problem. Remember the runaway bride? I thought that was a movie. I agree with you sometimes it is hard to tell when we should laugh or if we should be disgusted. Although, when a women says, "I am going to bite your balls off" that is hilarious to everyone but one person, the one with the chocolate balls. Mmm chocolate...
