It was announced yesterday that former Longhorn Ricky Williams was discussing a possible comeback with the Miami Dolphins. Apparently studying to be a holistic healer isn't as fun as running people over in the NFL. Williams retired unexpectedly last July, and after quitting the Dolphins, the former Heisman Trophy winner acknowledged that he failed drug tests and faced a suspension for testing positive three times for marijuana. Williams is said to owe the Dolphins organization $8.6 million for breaching his contract. Everything changed when former LSU head coach, Nick Saban took control of the troubled franchise. Saban acknowledges holding recent discussions with Williams, but if he returns, he'd have to wait until July to un-retire. Otherwise, he would face a one-year suspension for his violations of the NFL's substance-abuse program. Williams will still face a four-game suspension for failing a third drug test for marijuana last July, just before he retired. Rumor has it that Williams is quoted as saying that he "absolutely" plans to rejoin the Dolphins, and his agent says that he will report to Dolphin training camp in July.

Nick Saban might make me a Dolphins fan, even though he left my LSU Tigers.
