Three For All

Singer-songwriters get a bad rap. It’s a proven fact that not all of them are whiny, sullen assholes. Some of them actually bring the rock. Lucky for us, three of Austin’s best troubadours are joining forces to melt your face inside Stubb’s this Saturday, May 14. Shane Bartell wil take the stage first to play songs from his first full length cd, “Too Soon To Say.” David Newbould is up next, fresh off his amazing performance on KUT’s Eklektikos this Monday. The night ends with last year’s winner of the Austin Music Foundation Incubator program, Tucker Livingston. So come on out, but please don't heckle. They may not be morose, but they're still a little sensitive. After all, they are singer-songwriters.

They might be good, but do these particular guys really bring "the rock"? I sense a want of appropriate adjectives...
