A group of AISD school teachers, in their spare time and without any compensation, have organized the fourth annual Austin Student Digital Film Festival, a K-12 student showcase of media developed using technology available in Texas classrooms.

5:30 PM - 6:30 Break for Dinner
7:00 PM - 9:00 Keynote and High School Entries

We were stunned when we attended last year to see such high quality, creative, funny, and sometimes, yes, tear jerking work from these kids; you won't be disappointed.

Plus, we think there is nothing in the world more cute than a group of first graders flubbing their lines to stop-motion dinosaurs and candy on the big screen. You'll see what we mean by that at the festival.

Do you know any fledgling Coen brothers?

I appreciate such initiatives. Especially when they require no compensation. It shows that some people still care.
