George Clinton and the entire Parliament Funkadelic crew will be bringing the mothership connection to Auditorium Shores on Friday, April 29. George Clinton's musical circus will be swinging through town after a New Orleans Jazz Fest appearance, so expect the boys to be tight, if not a little hungover. The gates at Auditorium Shores will be opening at 5pm, with opening band Gnappy set to kick off at 6pm. The tickets are $10 and can be purchased now or by calling 866.IGETTIX. Tickets will also be available at the gates. Follow the wafting smell of sweetness south to the Austinist pre/post-party.
