Last night, first lady Laura Bush was spotting dining at Santa Rita, a relatively new locally-owned eatery. Our sources tell us that she ordered a margarita, but we haven't confirmed that said margarita caused her to smile her famous "i'm on anti-depressants" smile.
We at the Austinist wouldn't want this to stop you from dining at this fine establishment. Not only is the food delish, but the staff there are very good-looking.

you can also check out the santa rita menu online, if you feel so inclined. i dine there regularly, and may i say the food is divine!
well i finally checked it out and it was mighty tasty. the frozen house maragarita was excellent and the fish tacos - yum!
but back to that maragarita - coupled with happy hour prices - i think i am in love.
and the staff is mighty friendly as well as pleasant to look at. :)
