Walk It Off

Austin has just been ranked #9 in an annual survey of the best walking cities in America. The study, which was conducted by Prevention Magazine in conjunction with the American Podiatric Medical Association, looks at the time people spend getting around by foot. This includes everything from walking to a specific destination as well as more recreational activities. Austin comes in behind first place winner, San Francisco, in the category for cities with a population of 500,000 or more. We knew all those laps of 6th Street would pay off.
