Indierect always steps correct

The Austinist communication lines are all abuzz about this Saturday's Ghostland Observatory CD Release Party at the Ritz, but we wanted to fill you in on another Indierect-related show happening this Thursday at Emo's. Purchase New York, who we caught a few times during SXSW, is headlining a show with Svengali, Visitors and Pompeii.

We know that showing up to Emo's before midnight is a big scenester faux paux, but this lineup provides the perfect "get out of jail free" card. We've yet to hear Pompeii, but each of the other bands draw decent crowds whenever they play. The Austinist highly recommends doing all you can to drag your ass out off your couch in time to catch Visitors. They are fairly new, but seem to have developed a buzz faster than an eighty-pound girl swiggin' on Kettle One. That's right, we said it...what would an Austinist "Nightlife" post be without us working in some mediocre alcohol-related joke? That's what we thought.

Show up early and we promise you won't be disappointed. If you're lucky, you may even end up with a beer on the Austinist's tab.
