Gee, Thanks a lot, Mr. BakerMan!

Our Oprah diets are not working. Unfortunately, we heard about a new bakery with homemade donuts and we got there as fast as we could. Ohmigosh, best donuts ever! This time we are serious. As a heart attack, which is what you'll get after a few of these. But who cares? We are willing to die happy AND fat for these.

Bakerman's Bakery on 7th and Brazos is a baked good lover's utopia. Eating an old fashioned homemade doughnut from BakerMan's is like eating a fancy dessert--it's decadent. But it's also a good breakfast.

Hello fatter asses.

Whoa. Have y'all clicked on the web page yet? Do yourself a favor, do that then click on "BAKERMAN". Hot. Ridiculous, GQ, hot...in Austin, but alas, married. But still that and the cake page is enough to give a girl the vapors.

Mmmm, mmmmm! Yes, Bakerman's Bakery has some really super donuts! Very much different from other donut shops. Their decorated cakes are super cool too, but they are usually already on order.

I hear what you are saying about the donuts at Whole Foods, and I do agree they be tasty, but I must admit to still believing that BakerMan's doughnuts are the most superior donuts in all the universe.

  • I really love BakerMan's Bakery, too (in fact, I wrote about it on robogeek.com last month), but truth be told, I gotta say that the all-natural doughnuts at the freaky new mega Whole Foods are even better, and quite possibly now the best in town.

    (I'm just sayin'.)

P.S.: BTW, do you guys know your "Preview Comments" page has the Chicagoist logo instead of Austinist? And your center column ad headers say "SFist continues below"? Kinda funny.
