In Case You Weren't Already an Expert on Despair

The May issue of Fast Company--it's not online yet, so just take your sleeping bag over to BookPeople and have a little party--includes an amusing article by Jamie Malanowski about Despair, Inc., an Austin-based company that "services the subliminal resentments of silently seething office parkers." (Subliminal?) Despite that description, Despair is not a bar--they sell posters like the one above, listed with helpful gift-giving suggestions ("Perfect for disaffected college students.") Just in time for graduation season!

Had no idea that was an Austin-based company. I have, like, 4 of their posters.

yea, they are some nice young guys who also shell those "Bittersweets" around Vday. YOu know, the sweetheart candies with the pessimistic, anti-romantic quotes? good times

Um, how do I get a job there?
