Degenerate Gamblers of Austin, Unite!

poker logo.jpg Looking for a reason to get out of the house on those slow, rainy Mondays? Tired of poring over your leather-bound editions of Shakespeare and wishing that weekly poker game you played in was a nightly poker game? Well, for those of you who need to feed your poker jones and are not satisfied playing poker at home with friends or in casinos with strangers, here is an opportunity to have a little of both: poker with friends and strangers seven nights a week at a bar, brought to you by the boys at The Fantasy Poker League .

Each day of the week, between three and seven different locations participate in Texas Hold’Em Tournaments. The games are played twice nightly at locations ranging from Round Rock to West Austin. Players enter for free and compete in an aggregate point system, with the winner earning a trip to the 2005 World Series of Poker . So, if you are tired of taking your friends’ money, step up and take a shot at a room full of drunk strangers.
