Party Like It's 2004

Do you remember the days when J-Kwon was bumping while everyone in the club was getting tipsy? When blogging took hold of the nation? There was turmoil in Iraq and suspicion regarding the White House? Well now you can take a trip down memory lane and re-live the glory days of 2004 when current Senator and former Presidential candidate John Kerry visits our fair city on Saturday April 16th. We at the Austinist will be front and center crying the entire time.

Kerry is on a national tour to generate support for his Kids First child health care bill which would extend coverage to 11 million currently uninsured tykes. RSVP ASAP here. The Town Hall event will be held at the UT Rec Sports Center and start at 10:00am.

Here's your chance to take a step back in time to look towards the future, TODAY! (Or on Saturday...whatever.)
