It's a beaut-i-mous sight and it's all because of Austin's one and only Lone Star Rod & Kustom ROUND UP -- a weekend chock fulla noisy custom-builts billowing exhaust and sporting world-beating paint jobs, while slinky dames drape themselves on hoods and hunky greased up mechanized Men of the Road chat up sparkplugs and chop jobs. The Continental Club morphs into HQ and ground zero for the events organizers, The Kontinental's, Austin's numero uno custom car club. Tomorrow, for a mere ten-spot, you'll get to peep the fine fine work of some serious ar-teests from all over the country on display at Festival Beach.
