Ah SXSW 2005, the memories we share...

So ends the time of the year where hipsters everywhere take notice of our uncanny little city/big town, and it becomes the focus of all the world for a short time. We will have to wait a whole year for a particularly disgusting New York VICE magazine to insult our beautiful Austin, mine it for drugs, and pretend they own the town. Too bad.

However, not all New Yorkers suck, not by a long shot. In fact, one of the Austinist's favorite people and long-time friend, Nghia Nguyen, graced his old stomping grounds once again for our small rock n' roll festival. When not drunk and hitting on underage co-eds, the man known as the "Asian-American Brad Pitt" took a few pictures and wrote down his take on SXSW this year.

You can check out his piece at Crackers United.

Please remember, when you dis Nghia, you dis yourself.
