Like bare-knuckle brawling and rock and roll? Well, you are guaranteed at least one of those at a Maxïmo Park show.

The Austinist has had the great honor of seeing them twice in under 24 hours. First at a well known Wayward Boys establishment, the other at a FADER/Levi's show at the Trading Post.

Paul Smith rides the stage like he wore it yesterday, and then had a triple espresso. A focused intense energy spills out of him on to the crowd, forcing them to catch the beat and dance. Cool.
