Free Shows By Local Bands

If you don't have a wristband for the music festival, or if you're an anti-SXSW nutjob who still wants to see a few bands tonight, you're in luck. There are a few great shows by local bands tonight that are free, free, free!

Noelle Hampton will be playing tonight at BB Rovers (12636 Research Blvd.) at 11pm. Noelle sings like an angel and looks like one too. You can listen to her songs here, including some unreleased tracks. Noelle is also having a few other shows, which we've included after the jump.

If you don't want to drive all the way up to Research Blvd., the lovely boys of Fractious will be playing a free show at Darwin's on 6th at 9pm. We know we already linked this show, but come on! That was days ago, and you've clearly forgotten. Austinist will be in attendance, and if you track us down, we'll buy you a beer.

And don't forget: Ghostland Observatory is playing two shows tonight. Not to be missed.
