As much as we love Ana Marie (after all, she was a Cal Berkeley grad student), we've managed to piss her off two out of two times. Still, we did get a chance to overhear that she "really loves writing dialogue," and that she's "about eighty pages" into her "novel." Make that three out of three.

Cox's remark at her sxsw presentation, that blogging is not journalism, because blogging does commentary on reporting instead of doing reporting itself, has got to be one of the most egomaniacal remarks I've heard come from the blogsphere in quite some time. Apparently "wonkette" is under some sort of delusion that her blog is the archetype of all others. News flash: there are plenty of blogs which do provide original journalism. Making snarky and dripping with sexual innuendo commentary on reporting may work for wonkette, but she shouldn't conflate her blog as being representational of the medium as a whole. And she really shouldn't cop that kind of attitude... wearing a poncho.
